Аннотация доклада:
The future of the university everywhere depends on the younger generation of academics. This is especially true because in most of the world there are significant retirements of the current generation combined with large enrollment increases. But in many countries the terms and conditions of academic work for the emerging generation of academics is deteriorating, and the universities are unable to attract the «best and brightest». We will discuss the broader conditions affecting young faculty and present several case studies.
