CInSt members present papers on the economics of education at the Conference of the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics

Victor Rudakov, Research Fellow at CInSt, and Stanislav Avdeev, Research Assistant at CInSt, are presenting their papers online at the 32nd Annual Conference of the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics on July 19th.

Victor presents a joint paper “The Impact of Horizontal Job-Education Mismatches on the Earnings of Recent University Graduates in Russia” at 11:00 (UTC+3). The paper is devoted to the evaluation of the determinants of job-education mismatches and their impact on salaries of university graduates.

Stanislav presents his paper “Zero Returns to Higher Education: Evidence from a Natural Experiment” at 19:00 (UTC+3). This paper estimates the causal effect of one year of university education on wages and employment in Russia.
