Francisco Cabrera participated in the event about Monitoring and Evaluation of the 2030 UN Agenda

Francisco Cabrera, Research Fellow at CInSt, participated in "The Evaluation Week gLOCAL 2020", an event celebrated every year in different developing countries around the world. It gathers academics, practitioners, civil society and development experts to discuss about Monitoring and Evaluation around the 2030 UN Agenda.

Francisco chaired the panel: "Evaluation and Decisions in the Education Sector", which gathered experts and decision makers to discuss about four cases in which the specialised evidence and robust impact evaluations have caused profound changes in the design of large education interventions in this country. One example of this, was the research Francisco and other specialists have conducted on the "Full-Time Schools Programme", and how the authorities in the Mexican Ministiry of Education have used this impact evaluations to reallocate the resources devoted to this policy, which is one of the largest education interventions in the country.
