We investigate the impact of banks disclosure on the amount of deposits in Europe during the period 1989-2013. The banks disclosure provides tools to depositors to exert there governance onto banks manager. We introduced aswell the notion of ambiguity. Disclosure has a negative impact on total deposit while ambiguity appears to reduce significantly level of deposits.
