The spring issue of the bulletin Higher Education in Russia and Beyond

Dear colleagues,

 

We are glad to present the new issue of the bulletin ‘Higher Education in Russia and Beyond’ (HERB) published by National Research University Higher School of Economics.

 

HERB is aimed at revealing current Russian, Central Asian and Eastern European educational trends in Russia, Central Asia and Eastern Europe to the international higher education research community. We believe that an analytical discussion of changes in this region in the context of higher education systems is important in a broad international context.

 

The new issue is devoted to the reflections on students’ experience based on various empirical studies.  The authors represent different research areas and focus on various dimensions of student population in their studies. The papers presented in this issue discuss the topics of university governance, civic engagement, student employment, peer effects, new forms of knowledge transition. We hope it will be interesting for all members of education process.
