“Banking in Emerging Markets: Challenges and Opportunities”


November, 16, 2012

 

The Center for Institutional Studies, National Research University – Higher School of Economics (CInSt HSE), with the support of the Bank of Finland Institute for Economies in Transition (BOFIT) organizes 2nd Banking workshop "Banking in Emerging Markets: Challenges and Opportunities". The workshop will be held on November, 16, 2012 in HSE, Moscow. It is aimed to bring together the scholars studying different aspects of banking in the Europe's emerging markets, as well as emerging markets elsewhere. We will discuss the current issues concerning banking in these countries, regulation challenges, financial crisis influence on banks' choice of strategies and banking markets' structure changes and other related topics.

Workshop's language is English.
